Baby Teeth Matter

Thursday February 2, 2017

A baby will start getting their first teeth at around 6 months. Looking after your child's baby teeth by brushing them twice a day helps to ensure their adult teeth come through healthy and strong. These first teeth will help your baby to eat and speak well, so it's important that you learn how to look after your baby's first teeth.

You can view a video and read brushing tips and advice about caring for your baby's teeth on the Ministry of Health website at http://www.health.govt.nz/your-health/healthy-living/teeth-and-gums/caring-baby-teeth
