Call 111 and ask for "ambulance" when there is a medical emergency.
For health advice after hours call your own doctor (General Practice team). Your call will be answered 24/7 by a nurse who can advise you what to do and where to go if you need urgent care.
If your child is unwell, phone your general practice team. Most practices in Canterbury have free consultations for children aged under thirteen.
If it's after-hours your call will be answered by a registered nurse. The nurse will be able to tell you what to do or where to go.
If you are advised to take your child to an after-hours clinic, the consultation will be free after 6pm.
Remember if your child is unwell, it's always best to seek medical attention sooner, rather than later. Don't wait to see if their condition gets worse.
